Sir David Attenborough writes a letter to us
This term the children in KS1 at Lyndhurst Infant School have been learning about Sir David Attenborough as part of their history curriculum. The children in school, as well as those learning remotely, found out about his life and work and the impact of his achievements on the world we live in. The children wrote questions that they wanted to find the answers to and created posters and fact sheets about Sir David's Attenborough's life. The children learning remotely submitted photos of their work through Google Classroom for their teachers to mark in school. Miss Lawrence, a Year 2 teacher, wrote to Sir David on behalf of the school, to tell him about the work that the children had been doing at home and at school and enclosed photos of some of the work produced. The school were delighted to receive a handwritten letter from Sir David this week.
